Playa Blanca can be described quite simply. It is remote, beautiful... and perfect. After a shoreline flight, a five-minute boat trip, and a 35 minute jeep ride, five thatched-roofed adobe cabanas with oceanview terraces come into view. Part of the Yucatan's 1.3 million acre Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, Playa Blanca is perfect for couples and for families who like their isolation tempered with a measure of activity. Guests are encouraged to kayak through mangrove lagoons, visit the island's Mayan ruin, snorkel the spectacular offshore reefs, bike along the expansive white sand beach and of course, flats fish for permit, bonefish, and tarpon. The knowledgeable staff (exceptionally well versed in the local flora and fauna) includes a private chef that features fresh seafood and a variety of regional specialties.
The cottage interiors are whitewashed and beautifully decorated in bright Caribbean accents. Each cottage is different and all have ceiling fans, a large bath and a private veranda that faces an untouched, white sand beach lined with coconut palms. A bar offers indoor and outdoor service, as well as covered seating on top of the building. This is a perfect spot to sip a tropical drink and watch as the waves roll in.
For the fisherman, Playa Blanca uses the same guides as Casa Blanca and fishes an area south of Ascension Bay. They are equipped with 16' Dolphin skiffs and work hard to insure that the fishing members of your family sacrifice nothing in the way of angling opportunities. While you are fishing, non-angling companions can enjoy sea kayaking, snorkeling, wind surfing, bird watching, bicycling or relaxing in a hammock on the edge of a beautiful beach. All this makes Playa Blanca the perfect romantic getaway with great fishing included.
Prices are based on the time of year Playa Blanca is visited. June 3 to December 23 is considered the off season. The peak season is February 26 to May 30. A typical high season seven night/six day fishing package, double occupancy is $2,545.00 and the accompanying non-angler rate is $1,845.00. This price includes round trip air charter from Cancun to Playa Blanca, deluxe seaside accommodations, all meals, snorkeling, windsurfing, sea kayaking, bicycling, natural history excursions and unlimited use of all recreational equipment. It does not include alcoholic beverages, laundry, guide and staff gratuities. Packages begin and end on Saturday and partial week itineraries are available, but should begin or end on a Saturday.

Terms and Conditions
Your reservation requires a one half (50%) deposit
to hold your space. This deposit is due within 14 days of your booking space.
This deposit is non-refundable, but can be applied to a future trip in any following
12 month period. Final payment must be made 60 days in advance of the start
of your trip. Credit cards are accepted; however, there will be a 4% service
charge for the use of a credit card.
Gorsuch Outfitters acts only as agents for contractors or owners and outfitters,
airlines, charter air, and ground transportation carriers or other services.
Payment of funds for fishing and other Gorsuch Outfitters trips shall be deemed
acceptance and consent of the following conditions. Gorsuch Outfitters or
any of its affiliates or associated companies shall not be held liable for any
loss or damages howsoever caused or arising from services provided by hotels
or lodges, outfitters, guides, means of transportation or other services. Baggage
and personal effects are the sole responsibility of the traveling client at
all times.
