Colorado near Kremmling	The Colorado has been lots of fun lately. We have been throwing Hoppers on top and sticking lots of fish on the surface. Baetis Emergers in the foam have been wicked effective when floated beneath a PMD or other big Mayfly patterns. The ticket this time of year is streamers; as the water temperatures drop the browns will start to turn on to chasing streamers. Autumn Splendors are a good call for the fall as well as Kiwi Muddlers, Motor Oils, and Slump Busters. Cover as much water as possible and vary your retrieves to stick the big pigs.

River Description

The Colorado river flows from it's origin at Rocky Mountain Park through Kremmling working it's way west to the ocean. We float the stretches from below Gore Canyon to the Town of Rifle. These areas seem to have the most productive Trout waters and provide miles of excellent dry fly fishing during the summer months.
